Dr. Ramsel is the most incredible vet. She has taken care of our dog for years and now our guinea pigs. She will often make natural suggestions before she jumps right into medications. On top of this, she educates my kids and I on the why and how our pets were sock or injured to avoid more vet trips. I was a pet sitter for years, and all of the clients who use her are extremely happy with her as well.
This vet is by far my favorite in town. After trying MANY vets, this is the place where my babies feel comfortable, and we feel comfortable taking them. They go above and beyond to make sure that your pets are in the best care and they truly do care about your animals. I only have great things to say about this vet! Would recommend to anyone!!
I love Cook’s Veterinary! Dr Ramzel has taken very good care of my kitties. This team really has love for animals. Chris at the front desk is so kind, she always listens to me go on about my kitties. When I bring my semi ferrel cat in they handle her with such tenderness she doesn’t freak out on them. When it came time to put my old cat down they came to my house to do it and were very comforting through the whole process. Again I love this place and the people who work here.
This vet office is amazing! Even with a booked schedule they went above and beyond to help make sure my dog was healthy before I was able to bring her in for an appointment a week later. I really appreciate their hours and how good they were with scheduling too. They are so timely and awesome at following up with a phone call, and my dog who has had severe anxiety at the vet in the past loved everyone. Cannot express enough good things and am really grateful for them! Will definitely continue to take my fur baby here.
Our new Frenchton, Miley, received excellent care. She’s 3 years old without a lot of documented care, but the Cook staff got her updated and addressed all of our concerns. Thank You !

The folks at Cook’s are wonderful. My Vet Tech – Mandi I think – was outstanding. She was so very kind, gentle, and loving handling my cat. Dr. Ransel’s acupuncture has helped my cat tremendously. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Cooks has been taken care of my 4 kids for almost a decade now and I’ll tell you what; they’re awesome people they treat you right they got compassion for the pets of beyond what I can get people to understand; so if you want a good vet I highly recommend them.
